I don't agree that half the crowd was gone. Everyone was in the walkways and watching the game on the screens in there.
We were in there most of the 3rd quarter. I was pretty unprepared for a downpour, toughed out the first half and went back up late 3rd for the rest of the game. I think a lot of people did.
I had the chance to meet most of the guys before the game, once I download the photos I'll share some.
Honestly the half time show was kinda sad because I mean these guys were there to be appreciated and there was hardly anyone in the stadium at the time at least on the bottom level, but they did show it on the big screens and when they were introducing Cherbet a ton of people started to file back down
I was looking forward to it since I was at the game but I wasn't going to stand in a monsoon. I went undercover after the Folk FG, hope they would show it on the TVs in the councourse but no. Still dont understand why they wouldnt show it.
Umm yeah some people left but most people were just inside. By the last 10 min most people were back in their seats
my ass stayed in my seat the whole game. it was a damn shame that 95% of the people got up and went into the concourse during the halftime show. still, wayne and vinny got some impressive cheers considering the low amount of people actually paying attention
Yea, I dont really remember much of the halftime show, I know i was there in my seat because I rememeber Vinny talking, not that i rememeber what he said or anything close to it, but I know I was there watching it.
It was a nice little tribute. Nothing too spectacular. Vinny got emotional, Jumbo Elliot was cheesin' really hard. It probably would have been more enjoyable if my feet didn't squish everytime I took a step...
here are a few shots from the pregame meet and greet: Former TEs Fred Baxter and Anthony Becht Chris Hayes' Super Bowl ring w/ GB Shane Burton Bradway asking Randy Thomas why he left Some of the other guys that were there were Jason Fabini, Marcus Coleman, Kerry Jenkins, John Hall, Dedric Ward, Marvin Jones, Jerald Sowell
Vinny Ray Mickens Victor Green Sorry about some of the blurriness, I had the damn camera on the wrong setting.
I had every intention of watching the honouring of the Monday night miracle but honest to God we were getting trounced by the rain. I think half the stadium was in the concourse taking cover.
Thank you for that. Kinda sad we have to celebrate games like that instead of only one SB over the past 40 years, but I'll take it. The Monday Night Miracle game was EPIC. For Jets fans it was like winning the super bowl.
I was standing out in the rain watching this with a poncho on ...i wasnt going to get any drier going inside the crowded concourses anyways. Must have sucked for them to look up and barely see anyone in the crowd. I will admit it did get loud for Wayne, Jumbo and Vinny. Sucks the rain had to come down at that time. Figures right!
I recorded it on my phone, I was still a little wasted and didn't realize I was calling the players out before the intro lmao...
