Either way, we're gonna rip him.

Put Clemens in - we get your response.
Don't put him in - we'll complain that the game was over, shoulda gave him a shot.

I think it was a sign that the CP era is over, no way he thought KC could bring the Jets back. I will be shocked if KC does not start next week.

Nah, Chad deserved a shot after last week, but this week was the low point. I think the time was originally the bye week, but I think even Mangini has had enough, there was no reason to put KC in other than to send a message.

When you are down by 10 with 3 minutes left, the only thing you can do is pass. Therefore the Bills blitzed hard on every play giving KC absolutely no chance. Cant put this on him, he wasnt even able to manage a real offense cuz we had to score so quick. The fact is, Pennington and Schott only being able to put up 3 poitns on the freaking bills at HOME is embarrassing.

I agree..I think KC was thrown to the wolves. (Even though he completed passes that would have been impossible for CP)
This way Mangini can say "he's not ready" when Chad is named starter again next week.

When Kellen threw that first long (more than 5 yards!!!) ball I didn't care if it was a completion or not - just seeing the ball zip through the air instead of wobble like a duck was enough for me. How sad this season has become to be excited about seeing a throw with velocity from a JETS QB.

    Regarding the Kellen Clemens Situation

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Chad played terrible today, but he didn't play well enough to win the game. The defense showed up all game long, Thomas Jones was running the ball well, however, Chad couldn't lead the offense down the field threw the air. Clemens, despite throwing 2 interceptions, can throw the ball down the field and use the receivers more effectively then Chad has been doing this season. Clemens didn't play the way everyone here expected him to I'm assuming, but that was because he came into a situation where he had pressure weighing him down, which maybe he felt he needed to lead the offense down the field, or it was his head that media would be calling for. Sure, he was in a comeback situation back in Week 2 against Baltimore, but that was when he needed to come in because Chad left with an injury. This time around, however, it can be argued that it is indeed time for the Clemens Era to begin.

I said it since that Baltimore game finished, when it is Kellen's time to start, he will have my full support (of course, he'll have my support whenever he gets playing time). But if Chad is the starter, I will support him.

Man, if that's the way it turns out, that would be just awful.
