The second pick was a terrible read on the blitz. He read the blitz, but for some reason tried to go deep instead of hitting Coles crossing. This was a terrible decision. The last pick in my opinion was a great defensive scheme and coaching job by the Giants. The guy who made the play was a rookie, so you know that they had practiced against that formation with a blitz all week. Chad did not account for him because he saw him coming on the blitz. It was a bad pick at a bad time, but those happen to even the best QB's. IMHO, the 2nd one was the worst of the 3.

i think theres a bit of a difference between the 2....for one, glavine is going into the hall of fame, has had an increadible career, and is better than what he showed on the last day of the year. he did say that he had nothing as far as his stuff went.

chad isnt going into any hall of fame, unless he buys a ticket. chads performance has been mediocre at best this year, and he has never been as good as he was in 2002.

btw, im a yankee fan, so its not like im some met homer....but i guess that obvious since i didnt say anything like kill the mets...

The Hall of Fame has nothing to do with it. Glavine was a bitch who didn't care all that much about being a large part of a historically awful collapse.
Meanwhile, Pennington expressed extreme displeasure over losing a regular season game in early October.

Here we go again making excuses for Chad. If they don't pull him out, like I have been saying for weeks, nothing will change. We, as usual are the laughing stock of this league.

    DUMN ASSES..

i for one, argued for chad to stay in all week. i have yet to watch the game, but i will not defend chad any longer. it truly is clemens time, i would rather lose every game the rest of the year (and get good draft position), than watch chad piss away possessions. it is time to watch clemens learn, so what if we lose. by the way, the worst interception riddled game by a jets qb, would have to go to richard todd in miami " afc championship 5 picks". i have never forgiven the man to this day, probably never will. from time to time i will pull out the si issue of the game just to remind myself. in away chad is starting to remind me of him, without the arm of coarse.

No, that was a horrible throw.... The WR was running an out route... That ball needs to be low, on the front of his hip, and it has to get there quick.... Chad lofted it in there, WELL behind the WR... It would have taken a spectacular play by Cotchery to even get a hand on that ball, never mind pull it in.....

Like I was saying during the game, any able-bodied athlete with half a brain could have jumped that route and picked it off... and the same goes for the 1st pick... Anyone who's ever played on a defense at any level knows that ever defender's dream is a poorly thrown out route, or hook along the sideline...

The 2nd one was so terrible it needs no explanation...
