I don't want to rain on your parade, but are you sure you want to win this? Trips are terrible prizes to win. They list the ARV at 10K! That means you could have to pay over 4K in taxes. For 4K you could easily plan you own trip to the PB: Flights from EWR are ~600 rooms at a 3 star (the rules don't even say where they are putting you up, could be a shithole). about ~90 a night per room Tix to the PB are ~120 Total = 600x4 + 90x2x5 + 120x4 + 750(cash they are giving you) = $4500 You could save some money by not getting 2 hotel rooms. It sounds like your wife really wants Hawaii, do you really want to schlep along 2 other people? Save money by only you and her going and stay for a whole week and get a really nice hotel with an ocean view. Still come in under your tax burden. Plus you wouldn't have to do their community activities and media interviews.
