In terms of ineptness in coaching with abundant talent, not so much their philosophy

I dont know why schoddy supporters continue to speak on a game by game basis, when its the same problems for 5 seasons - we had a great line the past 2 years and it was the same bullshit

Mark had time in the first half to make bigger plays. He missed open receivers down the field becase he wants to get rid of the ball quickly. On the Turner drop, Holmes was wide open on a corner. On mark's horrible INT in the Oakland end zone, Burress was also wide open on a corner with the Raiders in zone and Mark didn't see him so he rolled right and then tried to force it.

I'd love to see an all-22 shot of this game to see how often our receivers were open.

I certainly blame the O-line too, but if Mark had made the plays that were there in the first half, it would have created room for the run and play action in the second half.

I'm happy he said something. Schottenheimer is that genius engineer who comes up with incredibly complex solutions to simple problems. Ship him to San Diego or Green Bay where he can shine. He just doesn't work here.

    good post

these are open reads which he HAS to make for this team to compete at a high level.

I noticed these during the game and shook my head.

hell he played his ass off considering he had no blocking in the second half. that being said its these few plays that usually swing the momentum or decide the game.
