Its the mentality of machoism that exists in the NFL not any display he had in car.

 

Why would Houston have a lawsuit? A side impact can cause a person to be flung to the side because seat belts are not designed to prevent this.

In any case, people like you disgust me. Instead of being happy for Houston that he did not suffer any life threatening injuries, you go off and unnecessarily criticize him for something you don't even have proof of. What if that was your son, daughter, wife, mother, etc in the car? Stop thinking you are so much better than everybody else. People make mistakes, and it makes me sick that people like you get off on that.

 

I cant beleive you guys are having a seat belt argument with champ. He loves to get you guys going and you guys fall into his trap

not sure if champ has a wife or girlfriend, because i doubt any woman can tolerate him, but if it was a significant other or a close relative, how would he feel if we called that person stupid; or "maybe their stupidity taught them a lesson."

You do not get thrown from a car if your belt is buckled. That is one reason for being buckled right? All of you who have made alibis for him or excuses for him look as silly as he does at least in my eyes.

On a side note, I can understand if you forget to wear your seatbelt, or even if you don't want to out of preference (it's your choice). I always do, but that's just be; I had someone I know die in a car accident because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, so I can never be too careful now when in a car.

 

And you've never taken your seatbelt off when you were on the thruway because you were on a long ride and it made you uncomfortable? Give me a break! He could have been in the passenger seat sleeping for all we know. Everyone does it, he just got caught doing it.

This is very bad for the team if he can't prepare and practice. I think Martin and Blaylock are nothing more than back up material and we were counting on this kid to develop and take the lead this year. We will need a RB high in the draft if he is seriously hurt.

 

Damn, glad he is alright. But atleast we have a much better chance at going RB in round 1 now.

 

Well if he did hes a tool. I do 4 1/2 to 5 hour stretchs behind the wheel and would never unbuckle , they are called accidents for a reason.
If he wasn't wearing a seastbelt at least he won't have to worry about his facial features.

This is obviously a smokescreen setup by the Jets to make everyone think we're drafting a RB.
