Brick was brought here for his great ability to defend the speed rusher. Freeny is hurt...so brick should be fine. Also, Brick did pretty good vs. thePats and the Bills. Both have good fronts.
D'Brick biggest asset is his speed and quick feet, Freeney is slightly dinged up..Brick handles him no problem, hell I would run at DF all day thinking about it!!
Good point. I think we have much more to lose with Mathis v. Clement matchup. That has 2 sacks and a few pressure's all over it. Freeney is having a rought start to the year and Dbrick has all the tools needed to hold a speed rusher like freeney at bay. Clement on the other hand....well, he's not really cut out to handle Mathis. We could possibly see some A.Jones at RT this weekend if Clement can't handle the speed.....
"HE PUT MY STAPLER IN JELLO!" "Me and Michael are like Butch Cassidy and Mozart. Cause if you try to mess with Mozart, then Butch Cassidy will shoot you in the head"
This morning's Star-Ledger mentioned Freeney has been hampered recently with a "strained buttocks muscle." He'll almost certainly play, but D'Brick isn't going to be doing that muscle strain any good, especially in the second half when that muscle starts acting up again. GO JETS!
Brick's long reach will neutralize the spin move. We may even see a couple pancake blocks as Freeney is caught off balance.
D'Brick has been great so far. Freeney will come in hurt try his spin move which D'Brick will be prepared for and shut him down.
Kendall should help the running game tremendously. One guy in or out changes the way the whole line performs.
