Why would any self-respecting Jet fan vote anything other than a SB win? We're contenders, we expect to win and have legit reason to expect to win.
Have a seat son, I am gonna explain to you what SOJF refers to: You see there are some fans, elder fans usually, who have a loser mentality. They are born losers, they lose in life on a regular basis and genuinely enjoy losing as it gives them an excuse and a reason to complain. They sit around with their loser friends and complain about how much their life sucks as they drink Milwaukee best and piss away their minimum paycheck. Then they come on TGG during the games and start predicting the Jets demise after one or two plays. This is how it is and how it will always be no matter how successful the Jets are. I'm sorry you had to find out like this.
Marshall Falk predicts we'll win the Superbowl this year. Last year he predicted the Packers would win before the season started, and he nailed it. So there's two ways to look at it ... An optimist would say that this is good news because the guy knows his football. A pessimist would say that this is bad news because the odds of someone being right two years in a row are pretty slim. Which one are you?

Perhaps some anger but I hate SOJF, I think they make all of us look bad. The average football fan thinks of them when they think of Jet fans. That pisses me off. Perhaps it's time for me to smoke a bowl and relax.

I was going to try to bring some math into this thread but that was depressing. I think our season ends happily and I'll leave it at that. Our odds are just as good as anybody's regardless of what Vegas says. If the offense can remain somewhat consistent throughout the season there's a damn good shot they'll be in the Super Bowl this year. At that point it's a coin-toss.
I just went to the grocery store and they had mini-helmets in the vending machine... I buy them for my kid. I put 2 quarters in and got a Jets helmet. That cinches it. Superbowl. /book it.
Worst case scenario, "lose in the DIV. RD" 1. Our Defense should get us in the playoffs 2. If we don't win the division we would play the winner of the AFC South or West, which would be an easy game for a road playoff now Indy is out of the running. 3. The only teams that I feel could possibly beat us in the playoffs from the AFC would be the Pats, Steelers or Raven. With the WildCard teams coming from the East and North, the chance of us playing any of them is very low. I selected Win SB, like any loyal fan should. Just ask Mangold...
