Hoyer visiting the Jets

That is a shame. I was on the Hoyer bandwagon. I had no idea he'd sign somewhere for that cheap. That could have been a steal. Ah well.

 

The Bears also have a QB that is clearly on his way out while the Jets just drafted a QB to take over in a year.

Not true at all. The Bears could save almost $14 million if they cut him after this season. And considering they are cleaning house of all vets and starting a youth push (plus Cutler sucks) I wouldn't be shocked at all if they did.

 

i stand correct, but none of that really matters with hoyer on a 1 year deal anyhow. he wont start this year and wont raise his value for a contract next year.

if he signed with us he had a legit shot if not a lock chance to start and rasie his value like fitz did last year
