Last night I was hanging out with a couple of buddies playing some Madden when we heard about the Santonio trade. They checked espn and nfl.com on their phones. I checked TGG. Sure enough, I had all the details and opinions within 30 seconds before they even knew who the trade was for.
Florios really does know nothing when it comes to actual football.. but the guy does get a lot of scoops and break news. I understand he tends to shit on the Jets for some reason, but he still does have good sources imo. Obviously he is wrong from time to time or says something stupid.. but he does break stories. If you guys all hate him so much though and don't want links to PFT, then I'll play along.
For me, it was the thomas jones rumor about coming back to NY for less, and then that article got deleted because it was a pure lie and now the whole NFL community still thinks its true. Now the Leon trade spreads like wildfire. He made Colts fans go nuts because of a rumor about Marcus McNeil being a Colt for a 1st round pick to protect Manning. I'd rather protect our sanity then to entertain this douche. Anyone can still post PFT news. My word isn't gospel, i'm a mere internet entity. But i'd like us to keep our head on a swivel with his bullshit, and become the angry mob when we smell it.
