Kerry Rhodes probably hates the fact that he left the team now that we're early favorites to land the show. BTW, I've never seen this show.
^ it's an excellent documentary. Trust me. We would get a whole new feel for the team AND new fan favorites would emerge.
The only guys I think the show would really be a problem for is Rhodes and Clowney. Fortunately Rhodes is gone, and Clowney's role on this team isnt going to be very important. I think the show is mostly gonna focus on Rex LT Scott Revis and maybe a couple of rookies more than anything.
clowney's role on the field might not be important, but you know hes gonna be actin a fool tryin to get that camera time off it. who wouldnt want to watch clowney party til 4 am and then try to get on the field by 7 while sweating out tequila?
Yep. Clowney won't see much time. Maybe some time on one episode out of 6. Its always about the coach, QB, star skill player (revis, scott, edwards), and some UDFAs and rookies that will make us fall in love with them. If Danny Amendola was a UDFA trying to make the Jets, there would be 5 threads about how this kid is going to be the next Chrebet.... which is why I don't want the Jets on Hard Knocks - because of TGG  People wouldn't know how to handle the Jets in the spotlight like this, and then the ruin this forum. The show would be damn good though. We have so many characters on this team, it would be just as good as the Bengals with Chad Johnson.
All for it. I like other posters here have always been a big fan of Hard Knocks and always thought it would be that much cooler if the Jets were profiled each week leading into the season. Here is that opportunity...crazy if you wouldn't want an inside look at a Jets team who is coming off a AFC CHampionship appearance. How much fun would it be - -Rex -the emergence of a young high-profile Hollywood QB -L.T. (the LT/Shonne Greene mentoring/relationship) -Revis Island -Revis & Cromartie Duo/Relationship -#1 Rank NFL Defense -Best OL in NFL -#1 Ranked Rushing Offense -Inside look into the Schotty/Sanchez relationshp -Leon coming back from devastating broken leg (maybe...hopefully) -Gholsten's last chance -Kris Jenkins back -Rookies and FAs Profiles trying to make the team (always good) -New Stadium/Florham Park Facility -No Kerry Rhodes hogging screen time Not to mention being on a national stage for the whole world to see how good we truly are. Football fans from around the country will Love this team.
I bet that a segment on Sanchez is about how he loves this game more than life itself and how hard he works and how he wants a ring for this franchise.
I would love to have an inside look at the team, but I would rather have a championship, so I don't like the idea. I would loathe a bunch of douchebag bandwagon fans, so there is another reason I'm against it.
i dont really see this hindering our title chances. the bengals had no problem winning last year with their appearance. i do not want the douchebag bandwagoners, but at the same time it would be nice to see us get a bit more popular. we are the team that seems to suck people in once they get involved.
I think it'll motivate the team, and be great to watch. Doubt it would back fire and be a distraction. I'd love to see it. Texans story vs the Jets story.. gimmie a break. and the whole Bengals thing weren't they 4-12 2008, and went 10-6?
When they hold open practices some crazy TGG'r should streak with TGG.com painted on. I'm sure HBO would show that.
