    rumors were already swirling around NE after a poor start that Belli was on the hot seat, but Brady had had a good camp. I think at some point that season he would have pulled bledsoe and rolled the dice with Brady anyway to save his job.

    Of course he does, there were alreayd rumblings about belichick's job. Brady would have been playing sooner rather than later. Mo just sped the process up.
