calling out for attention are we?? i dont think the caps validates your opinion...much less the use of the word FUCKING....very nice touch
youre right, I remember those now...but arm strength is not only an issue on deep balls...as a matter of fact thats probably the least important criteria...its the 20 yard passes to the sideline or the passes on 3rd down when you have to zip it in just out of the reach of the defender...thats when arm strenght comes into play and thats where Chad is embarrassingly bad
I understand and agree with you, but has Chad really EVER been able to throw those balls really well? I don't think so. His game has always been touch and rhythm and Chicago disrupted both.
Well going into yesterday, Chad had the 2nd highest 3rd down conversion percentage in the league...so his arm is plenty fine to convert on them
stats are misleading my friend....he may get the 3rd down but we have to convert 12 of them per drive to get into the endzone..cant score that much doing that
Do you watch the games???? If you did, you would know that Joey freaking Harrington did nothing to beat the Bears. The Dolphins scored 4 TDs against the Bears on drives of 6, 20, 12, and 24 yards - all coming off Bear turnovers. And the 20 yard drive was a score by the defense. Harrington was 16 of 32 for 137 yards. Yeah - he torched them all right. The Bears lost to the Dolphins because the Dolphin defense pressured Grossman into making mistakes deep in Bear territory. If I'm not mistaken the Jets forces exactly 0 turnovers yesterday. You just can't compare the two games. Any QB in the NFL could have put up points with an average field position on scoring drives of the opponents 17 yard line. Try this one on for size - other than that Dolphin game where Grossman handed the Fish a win, the Bear defense had given up four TD passes in 10 games. But Pennington should have shreaded them.
Well, he did, twice. Then he turned it over. That's the way it goes against an opportunistic defense.
