that lateral play was sick and coles got it twice which he had two lanes to run twice so we had a chance coles just couldnt see it, it was interesting though.
yea i mentioned that in a thread earlier today... I was really wishing that the colt pulled him down when he had his jersey
It would not work. To take any signifigant time off the clock they would have to not score on 1st and 2nd down. 1st down stop would take the clock down to the 2 minute warning. 2nd down stop to 1:10 or so. Then you would end up with a 3rd down do or die situation. If the clock was already below 2 minutes your idea would be much mroe feasable. In this case no, take the score when you have the oppurtunuity.
Instead of stoping on the 1 you let the colts score on the next kick off. Then you get the ball back with about 2:00 mins left. You of course need pennington to march downfield and score. That game was last 1 to scores wins.
The main thought of this thread is the essence of Monday morning quarterbacking. Never ever reject a 7 point gift.
I saw a play similar to that. A player was returning something (a kick, INT, fumble, dont remember) and decided to knee at the 1 yard line becuase it has best for the team. Some play in college football, I don't remember what it was. But yeah, when you give the ball to Peyton with 2 minutes your pretty much giving the game.
Sounds like Madden. But that depends on what you trust more, you O and D. On the Jets, its a tough call. Neither are dominant.
