I know more about football than you, i dont just look at stats. Ive played from peewee through the college level. I understand the game more than you do.It's funny that you account for our offense on a player by player basis when it's a unit. I never said mangold sucked or stated that any individual sucked. Again, your reading comprehension has much to be desired. Our offense as a unit under performed, online, WRs, QB, RBs, OC. To deny that is ignorant.
Whatever your past, you sure seem to have learned next to nothing from it. Sure the O is a unit. A unit made up of parts, here of players. Some better than others. Are you saying that you can't assess how some players were more positive, some more negative, than others in how the unit performed? Because if you can't break it down, cant say this player performed well while this one did not, then how can you be so positive about Sanchez?
Okay, so u at least understand that it's a unit. So if one aspect of that unit is playing poorly, as a result it can affect the play of the other parts of that unit, no? For example, if the oline plays like shit, as a result the QB and RB's can suffer. That is all I am saying. I have hope for Sanchez because he has shown flashes of being a very good QB. If Sanchez played like he did while all other units of the O played well, then I would be with you as far as Sanchez goes. That however, was not the case.
Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Run the football, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, play-action, run Pennington was a beast bc he let Martin run the football and he was soo nasty with his play-action. Sanchez doesn't make mistakes if we run the football. Rex preaches ground 'n pound, sanchez is not a bad qb (he can throw a bomb), if we run the football well the defense bites and we hit them off guard on the home run. Run the football. build the defense and run the football. Trade cromartie and holmes for mjd we have solid young guys ready to play (wilson and kerley) bring back braylon (blocks on the outside like a beast and gets separation (and does not take plays off and he is not a pussy (holmes). I would even try to get back plax bc then I think we would have the best outside blockers in the league both plax and edwards lay wood on little bitch ass corners. Run, run, run!!!!!!!
I think it was the intriguing thread title - all I could imagine was someone from a horror film shouting "hello, is there anybody here?" "hello!!"
It's a nice reminder of how a thread begun with a flawed, infantile and thoughtless OP can actually result in a thread containing good discussion when it isn't bullied into submission and completely shat upon with the first 15 posts, with that bullying being sponsored by some moderators with some thing less than a sense of integrity. I say this knowing that I was the first to respond and did so with a non-constructive post myself, and have learned a lesson from it. I suppose that if I really knew football, I'd be posting a variety of cat pictures. I guess I have much to learn.
In that draft there was a huge gulf between Billy Sims and everybody else. The Lions and 49ers were both 2-14 the prior year and the Lions won the coin toss for the #1 pick. Bill Walsh wanted to draft Sims, but when Detroit unsurprisingly selected the '78 Heisman winner, Walsh wanted to trade out of that spot. The Jets were stupid to move up in that draft.
What the Jets got from the Sanchez deal besides having the option to retain him after two more years at a bargain price if he steps up, is cap space. What you got was the Pouha signing today and maybe another hole or two filled here or there with cap space gained from this signing. Why Jets fans and TGG members can't understand this is defies comprehension.
That's good for 3rd place, although I think Fitz will be better than Sanchez without the myriad of injuries the Bills had last season... http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/36501/sanchez-fitz-moore-watch-the-finale So there you have it. There is no more debate. Moore is the second-best quarterback in the AFC East. That’s not a good look for New York’s Sanchez and Buffalo’s Fitzpatrick, who are expected to be the long-term solutions for their teams.
