I know that it does. Even though Zach has mostly played like crap in the NFL, he has led a couple of comeback wins. He was a leader at BYU. One can't lead when one is struggling, not playing well, and has lost one's self confidence. I'm not worried about his leadership. That will come if he starts playing at a high level.
Yes, they were. Sorry that you're incapable of seeing/understanding that. The T-shirts didn't have to mention Zach. He was still on the team, and it's like they were celebrating that he had failed and White was taking over.
coaching staff can’t control every soft individual’s feelings getting hurt. if the shirts said something negative about Wilson, that’s one thing, but supporting a teammate hurts his feelings? Time for him to grow up if that’s the case — White was Wilson’s best friend on the team anyway, I think the shirts hurt your feelings more than his to be honest
White wore a Ty Johnson T-shirt to his press conference. Was that a dig on Breece Hall? Give me a break
I think Browning Nagle had a 5-0 preseason in 1992, and then stunk the whole year, and was off the jets shortly thereafter. Zach has always reminded me of Nagle.
I think he supporting Ty Johnson with that whole controversy with his surgery. That was a dig at Joe Douglas.
He didn't stink the whole year. He stunk in all of the games except for the one game where he lit up Atlanta. I was so frustrated when they benched Ken O'Brien to start this loser.
I totally disagree, but I'm not at all surprised by your response. It has nothing to do with hurt feelings or being soft or growing up. I won't bother trying to explain it to you, because I know you won't get it. WRONG! It doesn't hurt my feelings in the least. I knew I shouldn't have responded to you. I thought you might have grown up a little or become more civil while I was away, but I should have known that a zebra doesn't change his stripes. Have a nice life.
I have to admit, after the Atlanta game I thought we had the real thing. Just another lesson of jet fandom.
Zach Wilson has reportedly looked like a “different QB” since Aaron Rodgers arrived. Wilson is reportedly playing with a “different confidence” than he’s had in previous seasons. Robert Saleh (Jets HC) has reportedly been “impressed” with Wilson’s improved ability at stepping up in the pocket. Saleh has also been “wowed” with some of Wilson’s red zone throws. It may be a new ERA for the Jets second overall pick
Greetings everybody! As a fan who generally believes in building through the draft, I have to admit that I was skeptical of the Rogers trade because I felt that he could have been had for less. Now, I have to join with the great majority of Jets fans in thinking that almost no price would have been too much to pay for what Rogers is bringing to the Jets. Not least is the benefit of having ZW sit and learn behind Rogers. I maintain that ZW has the arm talent and the athleticism to be a good NFL quarterback, just as I have always thought the same of Sam Darnold and Geno Smith. Geno has certainly proved that he was able to refine his skills by sitting and learning. I'm hoping that Darnold and ZW can shock the world in the same way.
Well, ZW's process may be speeded up by Rogers' mentoring, and hopefully ZW is ready right after Rogers wins a Super Bowl!
