    My brother, who's an Eagles fan, was telling me the big rumor is that Fitzgerald is headed to Philly for Lito Sheppard. If that's true, I would have to assume Arizona would have to trade Fitzgerald within the next 30 minutes.

    I can't see it happening....the Cards have to be asking for a boat load of draft picks from the Iggles along with Sheppard....plus the Samuel signing tightens Jeffrey Lurie's wallet a tad.

    Here's a positive thought, if a Fitzgerald deal is going to screw up the Faneca signing, why don't we make an offer him? A can't lose situation?

    Also, I should probably say I'm the first one to debunk rumors and sources on this site, but I can assure you it's legit. She's a sports writer for one of the big NYC papers and covers the NFL.

    I have the NFL Network on as i'm typing this...Schefter has just reported that the Jets are the favourites to sign Faneca at this point....we'll find out in 20 mins. Make it happen, Tannenbaum.

    Oh...Schefter DID say that the Cards tried to make something happen with Faneca....no wonder this is coming down to the wire.
