That kind of reminds me of when the Jets had Tice in for his interview...and Tice even had a layout, of how to rebuild the Jets...it was so good that the Jets stole it...lol
Saw this on Rotoworld.com and thought i would post it..... David Givens' agent has denied a report that he's already signed with the Browns. Givens expects to have a free agent 'agenda' set by mid-morning, which will likely include a visit to Cleveland. So there you go.
i had some deep down hope that we would drop macareins for givens but i knew he would go to the browns. Do you think that any jets recievers eg. fucken macareins will be replaced in any way
eg. Fucken? McCareins season last year is blown way out of proportion by alot of people on this board...he had a solid season in 2004... Alot of people don't know this, but McCareins had a calf injury all of last season which hurt his ability to create separation... It would be stupid to cut McCareins because it would cost more against the cap if he weren't on the team...
so was there a single guy on the team last year that didn't have any type of injury? maybe Nugent/Graham...
You and I are probably the only ones on the board that realize all of the above. Jets fans forget too quickly just how solid he was in 2004...he rarely dropped the ball and was money when he ran Slants. If Chad hadn't hurt his should week 6 he probably would have ended up with 1000 yards... I think I am going to rock out a McCareins avatar...
I completely agree with you. I thought he was decent this year. Not great but certainly not as bad as everyone made him out to be. It also makes absoulutely no sense to release him when it's just the same to keep him. A little point everyone seems to forget too
huh????? That was off of the Cleveland Browns official website the night FA opened. They took it off because it was false or the site got hacked.
Oh, okay. You may have caused some grief here, though. Somebody may have ordered a David Givens Browns jersey.
