I happened to go with a friend to one of the Jets PSL holders special events years back at Florham Park, and it happened to be soon after the Jamaal Adams draft. During it, he came upstairs for a meet and greet. My buddy and I literally were at the top of the stairs so we were the first Jets fans he met in his career (OK, one of the first) but at the time I was pleased by what a pleasant dude he was to everyone. It was disappointing to see his perceptions changed. I know he has it in him. However, that bird has flown from a football standpoint.

we are gonna see a lot more of this. Twitter is a cesspool and with AI it’s increasingly more difficult to identify what’s real and what isn’t

Social media’s been like this since it’s inception. This isn’t a new phenomenon.

Sports Illustrated might be the worst publication in the country at this point. There’s a reason they’re trending towards bankruptcy.

it is a new phenomenon. AI enhanced deep fakes that are very good, and the ability to pay for “verification”, are very much new

There was no enhanced deep fake or AI involved. It was a bullshit social media account. That’s not a new phenomenon whatsoever.

Well you lied about it first and then corrected yourself. So you yourself contributed to bullshit internet information you’re so upset about.

    I didn’t “lie” about anything.

We were discussing how these things will happen more, the future of reporting. I was out of context

correcting oneself is a good thing anyway, albeit less common, most people double down on their mistakes these days

Why would someone, something or AI be interested in starting a fake Jamal Adams retirement tweet?

This disinformation disrupts what again? Us few dorks on Jets and Seahawks forums?:p
