I have to go on the side of reason here and agree with you. I can't see how anyone would be bored or jerkish enough to pull off something like that. Well, come to think of it, we have seen our fair share of losers on this board over the years.

Hanshin Tigers!! i love it! how do you know them? is japan baseball popular in new york? i do not believe so. Hanshin is like mets they say and always fight with Giants. they are like yankees. hanshin fan are more loyal and very crazy. they are most from kansai part and do crazy things when they win. last 2 years all fans jump into dotonbori river in Osaka. but hanshin cannot be like jets because they won more than jets won. so hanshin is very much as new york mets team.
I don't live in NY, I live in Las Vegas but I have dated alot of Japanese girls. My ex fiance was a big fan of Orix although I'd think she would now be a Golden Eagle fan as she was from Sendai.
haha you know much about japanese baseball! but rakuten is very new team and also very weak. Orix is very popular team in Kobe and is homeplace of suzuki ichiro.
I do, I know that Orix used to be the Blue Wave but now they are the Buffalos after they merged with Kintetsu Buffalos. I honestly liked the Ham Fighters but then I learned about the Tigers and realized they were the best fans in the Central League. They are very similar to the Mets but as far as fans and passion goes they are more like Jet fans. Met fans should like Hanshin because Shingyo used to play for them I think
