We are going to win this game, Steelers offense is going to be shutdown by our D and Sanchez is going to play smart and not turnover the ball
If the Jets win, the critics won't count it because Polamalu is out. Even if they win 35-7, Polamalu represents 50 points of offense for the Steelers. Fuckin' critics.
I'll be traveling up to Potsdam to see my parents for the holiday. Not sure I'll be able to catch the game.
I'm sure I know those names from somewhere... Certainly there are exceptions to the rule. The Cowboys are "America's team" so they will get coverage. Vikings get coverage because of the media's enamorment with Favre. But I never hear shit about the Bengals and Redskins.
i went to clarkson. i thought potsdam was just frat houses and bars, didn't realize ppl actually lived there!
Posted this on another thread ... I heard yesterday that the Steelers have given up more receptions to WR's than any team in the league (other than Dallas - by 1). If this is true, it gives us a little something to pin our hopes to ... especially if Polamalu doesn't play.
Steelers have played awful pass D without Polamalu, and that stat doesn't help either. We know we won't be able to run it on anyone, so unless Schotty comes out with infamous 'outthink the opponent' strategem, we should have successful passing day.
Fantasy Football Playoff Game: Should I go with Keller vs. Steelers or Boss vs. Eagles? I was set on going with Boss, but this Polamalu injury has me questioning that move.
I'd go with Keller, Boss rarely has a big game and with Eli getting his main target back I doubt Boss see's much. Eagles have a good defense too. I think Keller is going to have a big role this Sunday especially now that Troy is out like you mentioned.
