Yep. It's all about personnel, and in the case of assessing a team's quarterback play, it's all about the actual, you know, quarterback.

then you have to give credit where its due. because tanny, sparano, schotty and cavanaugh all proved that they sucked.

im not a fan of morninweg because i remember what a clusterfuck he was in detroit. he wasnt just bad he was a kotitesque head coach. he also throws the ball too goddamn much. there is no balance.

lee hasnt really proven to be very good, and there are people out there who vigorously hate him. kinda like how jets fans vigorously hated hackett or cavanaugh. usually its with at least decent reason.

The guy with four career road playoff wins?
The guy that beat Brady, and Manning at home?
    That guy?

So Schottenheimer Sparano, gates and Gilyard don't enter that equation?

An interesting hire because it was David Lee that was behind the WC in Miami not Sparano. I am not buying into this being an indicator that Tebow will remain with the Jets but I am surprised that they didn't make this move last year. Regardless, those saying he can't be worse then Cavanaugh just may be surprised. Though Henne didn't have the tools to be a successful NFL QB, Lee was a marginal contributor in his growth. In fact, that entire offensive staff was horrible at developing talent.
