Jets Hire WR Coach SanJay

    considering each and everyone one of their WR's scouting report included phrases like "needs to improve route running" I will assume he helped clean up their fundamentals.


    I dont like the hire to be honest. I dont even like the fact Henry Ellard is gone. Lets hope I'm wrong. I do think WR was devoid of talent.

    Plax is a friggin corpse with no use outside of the redzone. Kerley was learning the ropes, and anyone else not named Holmes was just a body.

    Look what Ellard did with Braylon, stopping the drops, then they re-appear the second he leaves NY.

    Look at what he had to work with in Oakland. Two rookies, then another rookie. Never any experience. And look who was throwing these guys the ball before Jason Campbell got there! I would look at his work with Cal before I looked at his work with the Raiders.

    I agree under those terms it is a no brainer but they need to do it quick or somebody else will.

    Wouldn't it be just a little bit prudent to see if Edwards' knee is ok before signing him? He missed virtually the entire season because of a knee injury and was cut before the season ended. Who says you even get the Edwards of 2010 in 2012?????

    And what does hiring a WR coach have to do with Haley???? He would come here as an Asst HC, not a position coach.
