Jets would be fortunate to get Cameron. He won't be out of work long. He is very well respected. I would also look into Chan Galley
San Diego BB's are saying Norv wants the Cowboys job -- IF JJ allows/forces an OC on The RHG -- or the Jets job. Norv thinks if he just makes Sanchez respectable (85-87 QB rating) that the Jets can compete for a SB. If the team flops but Sanzhez improves, he might replace Rex.
WTF ? NO ! we dont need Cam he is too conservative. Norv is the perfect pick,i suppose we need to bring in the GM before anything moves are made to the CS ?
I actually agree ^^^ That preening, self-centered little 'Bobby Bonilla' cunt would fold like a tent in New York.
Its like we get worse and worse at the position every time...from Paul Hackett to Mike Heimderdinger(RIP) to Brian Schottenheimer to Tony Sparano now to this clown? Seriously fuck this team. Do we need Dolphin fans to laugh at us some more?
He was also a Greg Camarillo catch vs Baltimore away from a winless season in Miami. Yes he can be that bad.
Screw that Dave Wannstedt is in need of a defensive coor. gig....we got ourselves an opening. Screw Romeo Crenell or whatever successfully DC we can have....Wannstedt has worked miracles as a Dolphin and Bills coach.
Cam Cameron has been one of the best coordinators in the NFL over the last decade. He's been a part of 100 wins as an NFL OC in 10 seasons in that role. He's done that with a starting QB who has averaged 3.2 years of NFL experience. In 10 seasons as an offensive coordinator, he's had three top five scoring offenses, including a No.1-ranked scoring offense, and his offenses have finished in the top half of the league in scoring 9 times in 11 years as an NFL head coach or coordinator. By comparison, in Jon Gruden's 14 years as an NFL head coach or coordinator his offenses have finished in the top HALF of the league in scoring only four times in 14 years. The Ray Rice doesn't get the ball argument that people like to throw out is absurd. From the beginning of the 2010 season, only Arian Foster has more touches in the entire NFL. There's only been 60 occasions in NFL history when running backs have tallied more than 2,000 yards from scrimmage. Five of the 60 occasions were running backs in Cam's system (Ray Rice and LaDainian Tomlinson). In his one season in Miami, Ronnie Brown was leading the NFL in yards from scrimmage after seven games when he blew out his knee. As for QB development, Philip Rivers went to the Pro Bowl in his first season as a starter under Cameron. Brees went in his third year. Flacco, while not exceptional, has been a solid NFL starter. Cam Cameron wasn't a great fit as a head coach but the production of this offenses over the last decade are very good. Heck, the Ravens set a franchise record for most points and fewest turnovers this year. They were one dropped pass removed from going to the Super Bowl last year.
Please don't tell me they are looking at coaches before they hire a GM. Don't these fucking idiots ever learn?
