Ryan is no idiot. He's not gonna put Sanchez out there to get his brains beat inside out by Ray Lewis and company. If Ryan is gonna sacrifice anyone, it will be Ainge as he is #3 on the depth chart. Usually, teams play their starters for the first qtr or perhaps 5-10mins into the second as this is the second pre-season game so all Sanchez has to do is have a decent showing for a few series and call it a night. Clemens has the most to gain by playing significant minutes against the Ravens, not Sanchez as the CS will give Sanchez a pass no matter what happens Monday night. As was stated above, relax. No coach is stupid enough to risk a $50mil Rookie just to make a point about toughness or some other silliness. Baltimore is the roughest defense in the league second only to the Steelers so yeah, Ryan will be protecting Sanchez like Markie knows where Black Beard's treasure is buried..
Told ya it was gonna get ugly.... Sanchez threw a pik 6 and had another gimmee pik 6 dropped. He is a rookie, and is in no way ready to face a pressure D like the Ravens in a real game. Lets hope he's a quick learner.
Echo that. I think Sanchez will learn from his mistakes, but there are still plenty of QB's in the league who will never be ready to face the Baltimore defense. I hope Sanchez isnt one of them....
