Can someone explain to me how you can "trip" the ball carrier? Isn't every tackle a "trip" because you're bringing the ball carrier off his feet? Don't some tacklers shoot for the legs to bring down a runner? wtf is this?
It was tripping and wasn't a bullshit call. I am not sure why people always feel the need to complain. I am glad we got the blocked xp though since our offense seems built for fgs
everyone chill on the tripping call. Scott had to do it either way to stop Brown from getting the first.
kerry rhodes is a bitch. He ran away from contact. Too busy getting ready for the photo shoot i assume.
yes offensive tripping is called all the time.defensive not so much.however it was justified on scott
Bart Scott made the "tackle" on Donald Brown that kept him short of the 1st down marker... If he didn't stick his leg out, Brown had the first down.
seriously though, Bart needs to run back to the locker room, fuck himself, then come out and do the same to the colts
Am I the only one who saw Clark grab Lowery and hold??? I think so...but I'm telling you right now, the COLTS O-line does the most holding in the NFL and gets away w/ it. I emplore anyone who hasn't noticed this to keep an eye out...it's pretty obvious.
It wasn't a bullshit call, it was a good call but Scott needs to get his head out of his ass and play Football. He can play tough but not dirty.
I think that all the people ripping on Scott should watch the replay again...Brown had an easy first down if Scott didn't trip him. It wasn't a great play, but it probably only cost the Jets ~5-10 yards that the Colts would've covered anyway.
