texans defense is flat out awful. Mario Williams is great but doesn't mean anything if their secondary can't stop anybody. If the hail Mary play coulda happened to any defense, it was certainly Houston. if mark plays the way he has been, we'll light them up. Although weather will be a factor Need to improve that home record and make some noise.
Pretty much no chance in hell since the Sunday Night game is NYG & Philly, with possibly 1st place in their division on the line. Not to mention that game will draw much better ratings and is a bigger matchup given both teams' success up this point.
Lol at the Texans Board, they have a thread titled "Can we beat the Jets?" Most of them don't think so
I see a big win. I think Kubiak is a terrible coach and this will be the week that the Jets open it up.
Lol @ the "we will beat the jets!" thread. They're going to "destory" us. Guy said we're gonna get "destoryed" twice. Pure lolz That mjschippers is a riot
Whoever is in the slot more between Jacoby Jones/Kevin Walter worries me this game. Kevin Walter was out last year against us, and we had Jenkins, and they didn't use Foster yet.
True, but they had Slaton, who was highly regarded coming off of his rookie season. And as much as I'd like to have a massive NT like Jenkins out there, the run d hasn't been susbtantially weakened in his absence
Rex Ryan's defense have allowed only one 100 yard rusher in two years, 2 if you count the playoffs. (Benson) I'm not worried at all about Foster, I was more worried about Hillis then Foster. Foster is the exact kind of RB we stop, AD/AP, Rice a measly 43 yards, Best 48 yards, in 09 C Johnson had 97, and Ronnie/Ricky have never come close. Why are people always talking about being worried, talk about how we will rip them apart, how their secondary sucks being dead last in opponent passing yards, dead last in total defense, and 31st in points allowed. They were the Cowboys only victory until last night. They've beaten the shitty Chiefs, the shitty Skins, the mostly shitty Raiders, and the Colts in the season opener. Peyton threw for over 400 yards that game, Foster ran all over the Colts. The Colts who are ranked 29th in rush D, not 5th like us. Our two backs combined for a total of 204 yards of offense yesterday against a much better defense. That just covers our RB's.
no way. Don't need the franchise qb getting laid out because he's stretching out for some wobbly pass from a qb wannabe. \
True but the epicness of Mark Sanchez catching a td pass would almost be too much to handle. You saw his hands in Hard Knocks.
Actually, I was really impressed in Hard Knocks since Sanchez made some nice catches. Sanchez catching a td pass would be epic. However, the chance for injury is really high. If Jets take such a risk, it better be a high stakes game. Like a playoff game or against NE. Sanchez might be open but he's slow & better be in the end zone or running out of bounds before taking a hit.
