I love watching the preseason games, i just hate the injuries that result from them.

What are all your thoughts on Josh Mauga?


He's currently second on the depth chart for our Weak Side LB. I was impressed with his play last night, but it's only preseason. Not exactly the biggest guy but certainly is fast.

Almost could be a Strong Safety, he's got 30 pounds on Diggz.

 

Mauga has a roster spot, IMO, MB

 

Mauga looks like a bona-fide NFL linebacker, good instincts, great quickness.

 

Mauga's certainly worth keeping, that much has been obvious since last year.

 

loved what i saw out of him last night. i think rex will find ways to use him on the blitz during the season. guy is quick with his first step. i can see him being an important part of the defense this year and a bright spot for our pass rush.

Mason may turn out to the the biggest signing we made this year.

It seemed like he and Mark have played together for 5 years. You gotta love the way they interacted on field with the handshake and pat on the helmet after connecting on that quick slant.

Mason also very hard hits with every reception he made, one of them even made me cringe. That guy is one tough SOB.
