people may not like the sound of that but the advantage to that could be him using his speed to isolate the lead blockers while the other LB's come in to deliver the blow. or vice versa you could assign someone like hobson or schlagel to just crash in and let vilma digest the ball movement and make the play with quickness
meh...look at ray lewis (esp. in 2003), zach thomas, donnie edwards, james farrior... jon probably wont crack the 170 mark in a 3-4 defense again but he will make more big plays (interceptions, sacks, tackles for losses).
