So U R saying keep a NON PRODUCTIVE player as a starter cause he is the best of the worst on the team?
what is your definition of an unproductive defensive player? Are you just looking at his stats and comparing them to league leaders or something? Defensive players should not be judged solely on stats because they do plenty things that contribute to the game that does not show up on a stat sheet.
The easy answer is if we don't get a quality NT we aren't going to be even close to be contenders for the SB, so it doesn't matter.
OK so U R saying let JV continue to start at MLB cause it makes no difference if the monster NT does not materialize
No you are not understanding me, my post has absolutely nothing to do with Vilma, without an NT we aren't winning anything no matter who is our LBs
Yes I understood ur NT comment totally which means you are saying keep a non productive JV as a starter since the season is doomed anyway cause the quality NT was not secured
do you understand my english? without a quality NT we aren't going anywhere even if we had a Ray Lewis or a Bruschi on our team.
champ, I think it's time to get your prescription filled...your meds seem to be wearing off, or you didn't bother to take them this morning.
I think no one can disagree that we are employing a clone of the New England defense ,so all you have to do is look at what their tackles do and how thay free up the line backers to make play's. time and patience will tell.
its not our problem you can not read....i have answered your questions D-I-R-E-C-T-L-Y. But i will say it again, with a slightly diff tack for you....JV is a young player who has plenty of great skills who we know can produce. Why make a change for change sake??? please read the other posts here to get a more rounded answer. Again, its getting old.
Vilma had a disapointing season for him......he had an above-average year compared to other 3-4 ILB's in the league.....Champ answer me this: Is Vilma a talented player?
seriously mate, time to chance to the maxi pad for greater relief or something.... FFS, get a life moron.
As a person who has battled Champ consistently on this, the answer is no, he sees him as a backup, who isn't even worthy of starting on the team, that we have better on the bench right now
I will answer you question directly: Yes keep JV although his play as a MLB has not been effective due to his inability to overcome a lack of a quality NT in front of him. Now I will answer indirectly by asking a question of you: If you had Peyton Manning on your team when he was younger - but you had the worst line in the league in front of him. His play has been ineffective because he doesn't get the support he needs from the players in front of him. Would YOU want to keep him on the team although his play has been ineffective??? And Champ please answer my question directly
My answer JV talent level is not good enough to be a starting MLB in a 3-4D. I also feel that even with a massive NT in front of him JV would at best be a very average MLB in he NFL
