Yes cause had the talents that can easily be seen wheras JV does not have that talent & it is really comical to compare JV talent level with Peyton who for sure is one of the top 5 players in the league whereas JV is in the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the players in the league. That is like comparing apples & oranges. Look this is only discussion so chill out whatever ur opinion is of JV it is just like I have mine about him & sorry if our opinions are on different tracks
ANY NYJ player that is NON PRODUCTIVE should not be starting since that NON PRODUCTIVE player is weakening his team. It is no difference of a starter who is only 50% effective continuing to want to start
The wonderful thing about average players is that they can come together to form a championship team. You do not need a "hall of fame", "pro-bowl", "above average" player to fill EVERY single role on a football team. What you need is hard working, smart players that can work together well as a unit. Even teams with big name studs don't regularly make the SB, much less win it.
You are correct that our opinions differ because I believe that if Vilma had the right guy in front of him then he would be a player who would be considered one of the top 5 players at his position.
Then your answer to the Peyton answer is contradictory, without an oline he would be forced to rush his throws and would be on his back most of the time there by being unproductive. Without a team around you, it will effect his PRODUCTIVITY.
I thought only little children who play madden start threads like these. Lets trade our best player because we dont have time to find a new front 7!
So wait champ...You started ANOTHER Vilma thread because you got owned in the other 3? Give it up. It's becoming comical and disturbing all at once.
Yes cause ALL including you do not have the guts to answer the question directly. The last one was started by another poster if you remember
You are in NO position to criticize anyone elses' reading and comprehension skills since half of the time no one can figure out WTF you are saying. Maybe that's the problem though. Maybe you never advanced out of the remedial English class where you went to school, so all of this "advanced" conversation is sailing WAY over your head.
Hey- I like you post-- sorry for some of the responses on here. It's narrow minded to think that ANYONE on your team is above being traded, or shifted to another position. Weather we get a NT or not, Vilma is still going to be somewhat hindered by a 3-4 D. He is a 4-3 MLB who covers ground, and uses his speed to make tackles. In a 3-4 he's got to take on lineman, and his speed does allow him to overcome his lack of size. Anyway, I think the best thing to do is Trade Vilma away so that we CAN get that NT. He wan't even the best LB on our team last year, and really the other guys we have were never anything special before this year. Why not trade him away? I love the guy just like everyone else on here, and fan loyalty is nice, but lets be real... from here on out, nose tackle in place or not, we will never get the most out of vilma in a 3-4. but, a good nose is invaluable to our D.
