I heard a caller on NFL radio today actually say "I cant be that mad because we won one against the Jets that way last year"
I was at that game last year and on the goal line where baker got pushed out, I wanted to jump onto the field and punch the ref in the face. My roommates are Browns fans and were complaining about the call, it made yesterday even better, and I cant wait for the jets to get some payback on sunday
Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow are gonna be hard to contain... Gonna have to score points in this game...don't think we can duke it out with these guys in a low scoring affair.
I absolutely loved seeing that. (It was even to the tight end, too!) Suck on that Cleveland. It's kind of interesting how similar the Browns '07 season is to the Jets '06 season. Team picks up a left tackle in the first 4 picks, a quarterback of the future shortly thereafter, no QB starter announced in training camp, team shockingly goes 10-6 and loses in the first round of the playoffs. (SPOILER!) Both coached by former New England defensive coordinators, as well. Are the Browns the Bizarro-Jets?
I think this is going to be our only chance of a back to back victory. The D will be pumped for sure , let alone the O. The Oline will want to banish those 6 sacks we gave up. I reckon he will want some sweeet revenge too :coughs: paging Chris Baker. We take them and ruin their slim playoff hope
this call really ticked me off as i had a decent amount riding on the browns. They REALLY need to reevaluate what can and cannot be challenged. That was clearly a push out IMO as was the Baker play last year. edit: There is no reason why an instant replay couldn't help determine this and get the play right.
That was one of the best, tough catches you'll ever see by a TE... Real shame he didn't even get credit for a catch on the statsheet
Yeah, when that happened It totally turned me off on him. He recently said he regretted saying that... He looked like he was on something though
I didn't like him too much because of that either, but you can't deny the success of the recent Miami TE's. Helps that he's on my fantasy team too.
Yes. That was one of the funniest press interviews ever. He was so angry. GRRRRRR!!! He just lost it.
Winslow came out and said today, that he had no idea if he would have landed in bounds and then proceeded to say that he thinks he stepped out of bounds before the catch anyways.
