The colors are green and white . None of this adding black crap. Add black and then we're the eagles ....

Not a fan of the Kelly green either . I think it's too bright and looks tacky. I'm probably alone on this one but ive been liking how the color has gotten gotten a bit darker-olive-drab-ish. Kinda reminds me of a military style army fatigue look, which is a very suitable theme being that we're the jets.

I think we already have one of the best looking unis and any changes should be very small and subtle. The lack off success as a franchise still doesn't change the fact that these uniforms are historically a classic look that should be preserved .

That being said I'm so down for a 80s throwback uni once a year if they can ever get past the green helmet issue. Doing it without the all green helmet would be lame.

I think everyone's view points differ so drastically because we're all going to feel a certain way about the first uniforms we saw the Jets play in and more likely than not, those are our favorites. As a 29 year old who grew up with the kelly green & black trim, that is my favorite, but I also really like the 80's look, so I'd be happy with either one of those moreso than our current get-ups.

However, I worry Nike, who has ruined all of their uniform makeovers outside of Seattle and Minnesota (and the Vikings made sure they wouldn't ruin it), would make us look like the Giant Gumy's we looked like on TNF in 2015, so a change right now might not be for the best.

They make wraps that can turn a car into a billboard, or a bus into a flag. Why can't the NFL figure out how to wrap a helmet in a different color for one or two games a year?

White pants always. Keep current classic look. Only throwbacks should be sack exchange era. Black trim sucked. I have to admit I liked the metallic helmet logo on the color rush uniforms. I'd be OK with Kelly Green if that were the only change.

Funny how often this surfaces as a thread.

just whipped this up really quick, compared to the original image I used. Gave the green a little more life, realized halfway that I stopped avoiding the skin tone and surroundings and said fuck it.

No problem - I've been suggesting that for two years.

Were GANG GREEN i don't see we can't somehow incorporate both greens kinda like how Dallas has Royal blue and Navy blue, i swear this franchise has no imagination. We aren't one of those classic teams and we really should do something else because we could really use an upgrade, something that really symbolizes change, growth, a real rebuild.

This is a good job. Prefer it to what we have now though what we have now is not terrible.

I would also like to go back to the old helmet logo with the pointed tips rather than the oval. The former looked more like an actual football.
