It was a shame to see him come all the way back and then get hurt in the first series of the season. Best of luck to Jenkins.

Good luck to Jenkins, too bad he couldn't give it one more go.

Boy, this is a smart post. A beloved Jet who is paid to be large gets a career ending injury... somehow you find three faults there.

    College? Unlikely.

Thanks for the memories Big Katt, oh what could have been with a healthy Jenkins in Rex's defense

Jenk was a great player...when he played.

It's a shame Rex let him play at well over 350 for 2 years to make him happy. If Rex would have forced him to play at 350, he might still be dominating for the Jets.

    ...huh?

Jenx had weight clauses in his contract. I'm not really sure where you picked up this idea.

He made the right choice here. Time to enjoy a nice life as an NFL Network announcer/commentator.

Damn shame Kris wasn't fully healthy during his tenure here. He would have been a huge plus to our already strong defense.

Thanks for your time with the Jets, and the NFL in general, Kris Jenkins.

I can see him having a career behind the mic.

shame to see him go, he was dominant in 2008 and had been for quite a few years before that in carolina. a great player and a beast of a man. while pouha has been very good he does not have the skills this guy did. it takes a special player to be as dominant as he was at his position.
