OK, finished the second part and this is what I walked away with. Aside from the gratuitous use, abuse, and misuse of the word like in both installments by almost everyone involved in this docuseries, I'm giving up the ghost. I am now convinced that Michael Jackson was as guilty as sin. I know that detached yet cornered stare of a survivor. It was painful to watch. You don't want to get into unfounded mass hysteria and false accusations because that's a terrible thing if you're innocent, but if it's a pattern, it's a pattern. And it was a pattern. I feel badly for his children, and who knows what the fck was ever the point with that. Meaning having them at all. I know I heard peripherally a couple years ago that his daughter was having a lot of emotional instability problems and made a half-assed suicide attempt. Oh, and not one of those kids looks remotely like him. I am glad that the documentary kept his children out of it. At least the filmmaker had some common decency. Rob Zabrecky (I love Zabrecky), former frontman for Possum Dixon who later became a Master Magician/Illusionist, got a private gig one year for Jackson's daughter's birthday party. He said it was quite the experience. I'm sure.
I’d love to see someone accused of rape pull out the Michael Jackson defense strategy with kids he didn’t molest and argue that if the accused rapist never raped other women he knew he couldn’t have raped the woman he is accused of raping. How in the world is that defense even permitted? Was anyone ever arguing MJ raped every child he ever knew?
Jacksonenza. I'll get into the case in more detail another time, but all I have to say for now is what parent would allow their child to sleep in an adult stranger's bed unsupervised in a hotel room or in their own bedroom and doesn't think to answer with a get lost followed up with threatening a baseball bat to the skull? Not a run on sentence (I love when I pull that off). Anyway, I don't care how famous you are. There's nothing wrong with a child sleeping in your bed for comfort and solace in some instances (accommodations, finances, culture, serious illness), but beds can be a horrific and untoward place in many circumstances. Ugh. As an aside, in my neighborhood years ago someone was photographing our friend's nephew playing in their front yard. And he did it several times. The grandfather finally flipped out, slammed him into a tree, and threatened to destroy his camera. He was this close to throttling him to death. Either delete the pictures in front of my face, or I'm calling the police. He was doing a 'land survey'. It turned out to be MOSTLY legitimate, but fck that guy. It's gotten to the point where even a father giving their daughter a bath or changing her diaper - ALL INNOCENT - has been ruined by shit like Michael Jackson so people and will be under the magnifying glass for the wrong reasons because this in the world that we live in. I know this post is very convoluted, but I'm tired. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I do not believe in mob justice or witch hunts. Do your best and slog through. I'll try to do better myself later.
Well, it's escalating. First it was Canada, now it's New Zealand. Radio stations around the world have begun pulling his music. Wow. Also, the filmmaker as well as the two central people in the documentary are receiving death threats. There are a ton of complaints from Michael Jackson supporters that the documentary is heavily slanted. OK, I can roll with that I guess; but who in their right mind doesn't take away from that film that he at least did SOMETHING untoward? I'll try to find an article I read last night where the filmmaker essentially said if you want to listen to his music with a clear conscience that's your choice, if you choose not to listen to the music of a serial predatory pedophile rapist, that's also your choice. Not pulling any punches is he. I knew that the public would be very divided about Jackson's guilt as well as the documentary as soon as @JetBlue posted it, and I have also read several opinions about precisely why many people think that Jackson is innocent (some of it is not over-the-top crazy talk). All I can say personally is that if I was sitting on the fence before I'm not any longer. Sorry, Michael. There was another thread (I think the music's thread?) where Jackson came up, and I said that I always kind of leaned towards not guilty/railroaded and didn't think/wasn't convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that he did everything he was accused of. Meaning, creepy, weird, strange, but actual pedo? I echoed that sentiment earlier in the thread before I watched the film. How do I feel now? He did it. Looking back on it now, everyone thought the whole Neverland Ranch thing was bizarre even at the time. It gives me pause now.because I can't help looking at Neverland as a pedo trap. I mean, sexual deviants always try to put themselves in a position of opportunity. I would say Neverland put Michael Jackson in a position of opportunity. I'll try to post later the somewhat rational not too crazy opinions of why some people think those two guys are not credible. Mostly it's because one of them (Robson), who defended Michael Jackson up and down in his criminal trial over Jordan Chandler, essentially did a 180 and unsuccessfully sued Jackson's estate for damages in 2012 (hence revenge). The other guy also defended him at Chandler's trial. Jackson was acquitted, but later settled with the Chandler family for $22 million. I'll stop for now because this turned into yet another giant block of shit that nobody wants to read . . . if anyone even got this far.
I see the Jussie Smollet thread has been closed so I figured this was just a good place as any to put it seeing as I wasn't about to start another one (unless that's OK or re-open the other one?). There's been a major update. He is being brought up on 16 combined counts of disorderly conduct, faking a hate crime, and falsifying police reports. The two brothers completely rolled on him and are singing like canaries, and will probably get immunity. He is due in court today. The only thing that hasn't been concluded publicly by the FBI yet is if the hate letter with the powdered Tylenol in it has been definitively connected to him (even if the two brothers were the ones who mailed it). Sending "powder" through the mail is a terrorist act and a federal offense and he could be way way way fcked. Stay tuned. Oh, I also read that one or two things is going to happen. Either his character is getting written off or getting killed off. I'm going with option 2 because everyone on the show and everyone affiliated with it is so pissed at him. So, abyzmul might not have been far off the mark that they kill him off in the show in a hate crime, haha. What a waste this guy turned his life into.
Not everyone. The crew is pissed at him. The Hollywood types aren't. https://www.theblaze.com/news/empir...ssie-smollett-but-crew-responded-with-disgust 'Empire' cast wanted to send a supportive card to Jussie Smollett, but crew responded with disgust'
Many of this undeniable facts are actually false. Especially the one about the penis drawing. In fact jackson was uncircumcised, and the boy drew and explicitly stated Jackson had a circumsized penis. Hence the case never moved forward As much as everyone is claiming this to be so harsh, it's not. It's ot a documentary it's a hit piece without any actual evidence from two previous defenders who saw payday but were shot down in the past. This documentary doesn't prove nor show anything of actual evidence. With all the time and man hours poured into this case...they would have found something, but they haven't. One of the guys in the film (James Safechuck) said that Jackson married him in a mock wedding ceremony. A video just surfaced of him shopping in Zales with Safechuck looking at wedding rings, who Jackson said was an engagement ring for Sheryl Crowe. He never even met Sheryl Crowe. I know everything presented in the film is circumstantial, but when the circumstantial pile is a mile high, there has to be something to it.
Conflicting reports that Paris Jackson attempted suicide again and was kept overnight at a hospital on a 5150 (post-documentary release obviously). She is vehemently denying it, but TMZ broke it and as trashy and low-life as they are they're not often wrong.
Attempted suicide or succesful cry for attention? Too many people have shown how easy it is to successfully commit suicide for me to believe in unsuccessful attempts. Unless she has a bullet hole on the back of her face like Jack in Fight Club (that would be an honest attempt that just didn’t work), I’m not buying a legitimate desire for her to end her life.
