leons always been nasty. we never had run blocking. which is the biggest thing i stressed about leon to fans when we drafted him. due to his size everyone labels him as a 3rd down/utility back. but if the playcalling is right and the runblocking is there leon can easily be a 16-24 carry back. that wont happen with jones here but ive been asking for more leon washington involvement in the plays and i think itll happen now that the line is more improved. point in case hes one of my favorite jets and ive loved watchin him play since FSU.
Leon is part of the reason why I didn't mind not getting McFadden in the draft. I'm very comfortable with Jones and Leon as our top 2 RB's and it was good to have the luxury to be able to pick up a potential defensive playmaker in the draft.
