Letting Mawae go was a mistake.

I agree. And none of those posters are named ASSCUE.

You really need to relax a little bit. This is a damn message board. We have discussions here. Everyone speculates to one degree or another. I was very careful with my wording and did not convict anyone.

Also, I don't see the harm in a little friendly ribbing. I didn't think you'd get all bent out of shape about it. We're a couple of guys talking sports and taking different sides on issues. Giving each other a little Sh!t here and there just makes things more fun in my opinion.

Lets get one thing straight. "I think Mawae said (so and so)" is different than saying "Mawae said (so and so)". There's no reason for you to get your little panties in a bunch over my statement.

I also don't agree with EVERY move the front office makes. Giving Katnik a shot (if the coaching staff thinks he's ready for it) doesn't sound like a bad idea to me (He's the same height as Mangold and weighs about 5 pound more based on what I've read of the two).

Trading abe for the 29th pick is FINE with me. Two weeks ago the media was saying we were asking too much and would probably only get a 2nd rounder at most. Getting a late first rounder in a very deep draft isn't a bad move by any means.

And I'll say it again, I have no problems with cutting Mawae. He was an absolute warrior for us, but it's time to move on.

    (sigh) Where's the Advil?!

Its mainly because the regime is new and in its honeymoon period. If Bradway had released Mawae without trying to trade him for compensation there would be 10 new threads a day asking for his head on a stick. Give it a year or two and they will all hate Mangini and Tannebaum. The sad thing is it may take the kiddie corps a couple of years to become competent and gain respect around the league. When they finally reach that point people here will hate them.
