He’s only a headache because he is holding out. If he plays what headache is he?

He may not have felt he was in a situation, financially, to hold out for a long period of time. Now it's obvious he is. Listen, I will always be in the players corner for being able to negotiate the going rate for their contract. Because their careers are short enough as it is and they take a shit ton of damage. It's not like baseball or basketball where they get a health plan for their entire lives.

Adrian Murrell - a decent back but definitely replaceable by a Curtis Martin. He went to AZ and fizzled shortly after.......ironically Powell reminds me of Murrell and both wore # 29.

When we are on the cusp of a playoff run come this Season (IF that remotely happens) I would entertain a response to your question

I think you are correct about his current financial situation affording him the ability to now holdout. But that would still revert to Bell voluntarily choosing the financial benefit of those previous contracts.

Ah yes.. .Murrell... Parcells choice was far easier than the one Macc faces. Murrell was serviceable, but by no means was he even on par with our 1-2 punch of Crowell and Powell. I don't envy Macc.

Obviously I would gladly accept a playoff run with the roster as is, but I still don’t think Bell would be a headache for the Jets until the point they would likely be willing to get rid of him anyways.

Everyone needs to slow down. Crowells game isn’t nearly impressive if he di ant break a run late in the game against a defense that had given up while down by 20+ points. Bell is light years ahead of Powell/crowell.

So I tried speculating about this the other day after James Conner had a strong game for the Steelers :

    and was told this:

So what's the guideline I violated since there's three pages (as of this post) of speculation about Bell coming here?

Fantastic RB, one of the best I've seen in this generation.

POS as a person and intelligible human being.

Plus let's be honest I know they aren't as good as Bell but Crowell and Powell are both fine football players and can do their 1-2 role just fine.

Two words for ya: FUCK HIM.

Jets have a real good locker room atmosphere. They spent years building that. I don't know if this team will win a lot this year, but I think I like the culture change overall.

Should we change all that because of one greedy diva of a RB? FUCK NO.

Isn't Bell the exact type of personality the Jets have been trying to purge from the locker room?

he holds out for money he deserves and now he's a terrible person? you guys have some fucked up world views.

you know who else has a fucked up world view? Steelers guard Maurkice Pouncey. He defended scumbag murderer Aaron Hernandez endlessly.... but Le'Veon Bell holds out and he speaks out strongly against it. fuck that guy.

I'd take bell on this team

It’s not about holding out for money.

    That’s only part of it.
