Cimini is a bit negative like all Jets fans, but when he does as story it seems to follow in line with what he's said or heard before. I think Mehta is annoying because his sources say one thing, then down the road they say something else. Well one of sources is wrong and you should have fact checked that before hand with a second source, or you aren't checking enough to understand what's going on. Then there was also that one article Mehta had where it was implied but never stated players were quoted recently, but he was supposedly using quoted from 2-3 months ago without stating that fact. I trust Cimini and he's a definitely a pessimistic Jets fan, but aren't we all?
It depends on what your job is Cman. Is your job is to turn out thinly disguises gossip then writing about rumor and twisting facts is quite possibly what his employers want. Poor ethics is only ground for dismissal if ethics matter to the employer. I can't speak to reading Manish, or even the NYPost, but if he helps to sell papers then I think his employers are probably thrilled so long as he doesn't get them embroiled in a losing lawsuit or something like that.
