I agree, O line needs all the help/experience it can get, and he is a definite asset to the likes of the developement of mangold, and Brick....
It comes down to weather or not our offensive line can take the hit. I think it can...but I'm very unsure.
Don't agree. IMO he is just as serviceable as Kendall. Problem is I believe he was scheduled to make close to 3 bills next year so he would have to play for less. Also heard Miami is making a strong run at him. He's not a bad player; not great, not bad....
Keep him, and let him do what he wants to do. Don't pay him any more money, if he holds out, he can help us when he ends the holdout.
I think releasing him is a bad idea because with the Jets luck he'll end up in the division. Trade him, negotiate, or make him play out the string. If we keep him, demote him to back-up duty to rub some salt in the wounds. After reading all his bs I'd love too see him go, but not at the expense of him landing on a rivals roster.
Release him Unless they can create some sort of competition for him, he won't bring anything back. Other GMs will wait, knowing that they are more likely to release him than have a malcontent in camp. It isn't just that he doesn't want to be here, but he is very articulate, a media favorite. His presence will be incredibly unsettling. He played well last year and was a good mentor for Mangold, but I don't believe he's worth the top dollar that he's asking.
