We get to see what Dale Jr.'s new car number is and what it will look like tomorrow. I can't wait.

I just can't catch a break as a sports fan. as a Jets fan I've had to endure Herm Edwards, as a UCLA alumni I have to endure Karl Dorrel, and as a Mets fan I get stuck with Willie Randolph. and for anyone looking for the obvious common denominator between the three, it is that they are simply awful at what they do, plain and simple. nothing more.

why, God, do you hate me so!?!?!?!

I believe I've achieved some sort of zen state of Mets fandom, with all the ups and downs this year I can watch the games but not get excited when they do well or annoyed when they screw up(plenty of this lately). Similar thing happened in 2004 with the Jets after the Barton roughing the passer penalty against the Chargers.

    This is looking bad man...
We have the lead in pretty much all these games and we end up blowing it...!
    Can't believe it...

Starting to think that the only way we can get into the playoffs is if the Phillies loses all their games.

What is going on guys?? What the fuck is going on? This is the first time this year I'm just thinking we aren't going to make it. Every time we would slip, I'm like we're ok, we're ok. But this fall is different, we're playing poorly and we just suck. Everyone sucks. I dont know what to think, I'm only 19 I dont know what to do or what to think.

    We're done.

Shawn Green with another hit, and Lo Duca follows with a pop fly single that the CF was too deep to catch. Conine up to drive the knife in.

Conine shockingly drives in a run. Of course, that will only make it worse if it ends up 9-8.

if you're looking for a bright side at least the suckitude tonight was limited to one player rather then pretty much the whole team like the last few days.

Should the Mets fail to win the division this would be their biggest on-field disgrace of all-time.
Their biggest off-field disgrace would be Vince Coleman throwing firecrackers near a baby.

I started off smart by picking the Yankees and Giants as a 3 or 4-year old. Then my father got to me and ruined the whole thing.
I would have had 6 combined world championships. Thanks to my old man, I have 1.

Their biggest off-field disgrace is all of 1986. It's sort of like a yearlong achievement award.
