    Church has been playing a bit better then Milledge so far but Schneider is awful now and will be awful as long as he's around. Dude doesn't even have an XBH. Schneider is way below league average offensively and for a guy touted as a "defensive catcher" he's looked awful back there too. Did anyone catch his quote the other day saying that the reason he's had all the passed ball is because he's breaking in a new mitt? Give me a break.

    The Mets got rid of Paul "ground into double play" Lo Duca and got someone who has been holding his own so far this year.

    Schneider WAS experimenting with a new mitt on Sunday. He threw it out after the game and went back to his old mitt. How many passed balls has he had since? Right.

    .267 with no extra-base hits and some shitty fielding is not exactly "holding his own."

    Other than a good 2nd half of the year 2006, he at best has been mediocre. He shouldn't be our setup guy. He wasn't very good as a starter and now he isn't very good as a reliever either.

    First, small sample size. Second, his career OBP is .324. Third, he's not walking any more then normal, the improvement in OBP is due solely to his BA. Fourth, his BABIP is almost .060 points higher then his career average.

    He's really bad.

    I hate this stupid Fox bs...... I can't watch the game on MLBTV that's ok listening to it has been exciting as other than Schoensuck being Schoensuck. I do have a bad feeling about this though......
