I didn't even bother checking the Phils-Braves score online. I really need to stop underestimating the magnitude of the suckiness of the Phillie bullpen.
if you look at the game log it's even worse, in the 8th 3 runs came in while Myers was pitching one from a wild pitch, one from an IF single and he walked in another. then in the 9th it's 2 outs and nobody on and he gives up back to back IF singles and a walk, then the gamewinning double that apparently should've been caught(at least according to the ranting phillies fans) no word on any type of myers reaction after the game, i'd be worried if i was his wife right about now.
I just saw the replays on SportsCenter, and the bullpen really wasn't nearly as bad as the stats look. Gordon gave up two lucky bloop hits, and while Myers was terrible, he also gave up a couple of cheap IF hits, and the winning runs scored on a double that indeed should have been caught. First ML game all year that a team blew a lead of at least six runs in the 8th inning or later. Just reported that Delgado will be out 7-10 days with the hip injury.
