yesterday we saw oliver perez give up a bunch of runs after being ahead of hitters, now wright rocks one after being behind to miller. notice miller isn't holding the runners on. also, at this rate, it's only a matter of time before a bird interferes. maybe a throw from the outfield will bounce off a bird or something. maybe a guy will be unable to make a play in the field because he's trying to avoid a flying seagull.
yeah, I also think Delgado should've been farther down today. miller is very tough on lefties. and I also think father time shouldn't be in the lineup, but I guess we don't have many rightie bats
after last year I didn't think I would ever say this but it will be nice to get Shawn Green back into the OF.
I must say, I feel much more comfortable facing the Tigers with Thames batting cleanup instead of Mags.
damn easley cost us a run. Every time we get on against this guy, we need to be very aggressive. He struggles to hold guys on, and his pickoff throw was a bad one.
Well, if Glavine is "testy" after today's game if he doesn't win, he has no one to blame but himself - he's the one giving away the 3-0 lead.
It is safe to say that right now Glavine is our worst starter in the rotation as of right now based on this year's performance alone
That's true, and does reflect that the starting pitching has been excellent all year (as 3rd noted, it isn't that Glavine has been awful, just pitching well enough to lose).
