that doesn't mean they aren't on the block...that just means it doesn't unfold..

    I don't get your point

BTW he's not Arizona's top receiver. There are a flurry of receivers there, John Brown specifically who Arizona loves and plays the same role as Floyd.

No! The first round in the draft was the ONLY spot that Mac could have POSSIBLY gotten another offensive playmaker for this team! He blew it and picked another lineman. We should just go defense for the rest of the draft and not even think about running backs or receivers if that's how they want to build this team.

Sarcasm aside, I wouldn't do it just because I think his cap number is a little too high and I'd like to have a little flexibility to pay Mo. We actually have a lot of money invested in our receiving corps for this year and we can't blow another 7 mil into it. The way to go is to take one on day 2 so he starts off making rookie wages, then extend him to give him more money once Marshall is off the books (assuming he's good enough).

I believe the 7 mil isn't until next year in which its non-guaranteed and can be re-worked in an extension.

Oh this is the 4th year on his rookie deal? Makes a little more sense to me then.

Why trade a developing potential star receiver? I'd be curious to know why.

He might be being shopped but I wouldn't bet on him getting dealt.
