Yeah, Mort's wrong all the time. That's what ESPN pays him for.

I think he's right all the time. I'm glad we got Eli back off the IR, ya know, from that season ending shoulder injury he got week 1 last year against Dallas.

Even if they want him they still have to get through all of the other interviews they have scheduled because they haven't interviewed a minority candidate and can't offer the position to anyone unless they do.

This would be terrible. Schotty has done shit for us as OC these last couple years , Why make him the HC ? IF this happens i would be extremely pissed off.

B Schottenheimer would have us be the 2nd team in NFL history to go 0-16.

if how you performed as a coordinator dictated how you would perform as a head coach, how come all these great coordinators turn into awful coaches. perhaps the skills required to do one don't translate directly to what it takes to do the other, and with that possibility actually a fact, it is possible Brian Schottenheimer could have the skills necessary to be a head coach even if he isn't a great coordinator.

Who knows, maybe the best candidate is right under our nose?

And who says Schotty did a bad job for us? He was good in 2006, 2007 we had no talent and injuries, and pretty good this year as well (coping with a mistake prone QB)

We would have to reshuffle a bit. Brian Schottenheimer to HC, Callahan to OC, Sutton to unemployment line...

This plus "has done shit" is not what I'd use to describe what Schott's done to our offense.

I don't think a team that spent most of the season up in the top 5 of points scored has "done shit."

Not that I'd be happy with him as HC, but the Schotty hate on this board is just dumb. It's only slightly more rational than the Mangini hate and/or SOJ stuff.
