yeah i really didnt watch him in arizona but remembered hearing something about his move from inside to outside. i hope they use him where he fits best, i have seen too many times the cs force feed something to people who had no business being put in those situations. until this off season!! when they got rid of the dont fit guys. it will be interesting to see what ends up happening, i really do hope that he can move around and handle multiple positions. needless to say i cant wait to see what they do and hope and pray that they dont have one of em sitting all game every game.
There's a myriad of possibilities on where to line up BT/Pace/Gholston. It would not surprise me at all to see the CS capitalize on this. I do have some concerns though. Very few in this forum have ever discussed the relative pass coverage skills of these three players. Although the group looks strong on paper, pass coverage could be their achilles heel that becomes their undoing. I certainly hope that I'm wrong on this.
The Jets have some really big linebackers lined up for next season. Pace 6'4" 272 Thomas 6'4" 266 Gholston 6'4" 264 Barton 6'2" 245 Harris 6'2" 243 It's not too hard to imagine them moving Pace inside if Gholston is ready to go in camp and Thomas seems to be revitalized with the bigger bodies around him. The linebackers at least are starting to look Patriot-sized. In fact if you squint a bit they look bigger. Now we have to hope that the scheme will take advantage of that mass moving around back there.
Chances are, we're gonna see alot of mixing and matching during the course of the game in terms who's on the field for LBs and where they are positioned. I expect Pace to be all over the place, and believe they will try and isolate both harris and Gholston who appear to be the 2 big playmakers.
