I think he is a great athlete but I don't think he has the necessary skill to play Wr. At that position everything can be coached except catching the ball and that he can not do on a consistent basis. As close as games are nowadays it is only a matter of time before he has some huge drops to cost us games. He is a great ST guy and an emergency fill in but I would prefer a natural receiver at the position.

I just don't think he's got the hands for it.

On offense I'm worried about Woody. He is is a question mark. Both QB's worry me as well.

On D, I'd have to say Brian Thomas. All I expect him to do is not completely suck and I have a feeling I'll be let down again.

I am surprised if Graham is still here come the start of the season that nobody has thrown Graham into the mix. While he definitely helped get us to the playoffs in 2006, his play fell off huge last year.

From a Pats fan point of view .. I'm hoping Jenkins will crash and burn on "D", and Kellen on "O" ..

As much as i hate to say it i think Clemens will struggle on O this year and on D whoever plays that secondry S spot, Elam or Smith.

  10. Once Stuckey emerges(which if he stays healthy he will) Smith is gonna be our 4th WR. The fact is...he has good size, speed, athelticism and is fantastic after the catch. He doesn't have #1 or # 2 option type hands..but he is certainly an asset to this team long term. Get the ball in his hands and he'll make a play. What more can you ask for in a # 4 WR?

I picked Thomas nonetheless because of those stories that he acknowledged slacking off last year and said this year would be different. I didn't take a poll but in case some people took him at his word, if they did they will likely be disappointed.

Agreed on all of the above regarding a 4th wr but the thing I would ask is can my 4th receiver catch the ball if called upon to start in case of injury. He is a great St player but I have serious doubts about his Wr Skills. There are but so many trick plays you can call. Especially when the whole league knows it's coming when he enters the game.
