seriously! If they were going to go w/ the white unis they should have just went back to the powder blues.
I don't exactly have a sharp eye for attention when it comes to fashion and whatnot, but doesn't it look just like last season's? I can barely tell the difference.
The new ones are quite different. You can read about all the changes in the first post of the thread.
I would love it if every team in NY made some changes to their unis except the yanks. The jets Unis could be so much sicker I wish they would do something about it.
For Dinobot2 I know youre really into this stuff. what do you think about the new Chargers uniforms? I think theyve got the nicest uniforms in any sport.
Now isn't this just thoughtfull.  Anyway, I like the home version alot better. The 2006 and prior version was a little boring. I can see why they updated. I like the change to white helmets too. One thing that's a little weird is this though..... It looks like they have an alternate throwback jersey now. Yes an alternate for the old throwback. I hope they plan on just selling that for the extra money like the whores they are and not wear it for games. What about the classic throwback? The descriptions says official color. Who knows. It's just like what the Falcons do. They wear their alternate red jersey more than the black home one.
It's an alternate jersey as opposed to an "alternate throwback jersey." Powder blue was not an official Chargers color last year. Now it is. This powder blue uniform is just like the Cincinnati orange jerseys, the Atlanta reds, the Philadelphia blacks, the New England silver ones, etc. With this new powder blue get-up the Chargers will need not go back to wearing their faux 1960s-style throwback uniforms. Yes, "faux" is accurate because those uniforms were not identical to the ones they wore in the 1960s. The Chargers will mix it up. At home they will probably go dark blue 5 or 6 times and light blue 2 or 3 times.
Yeah I know. The alternate resembles the throwback. And it's lame for them to wear that now in games rather than just the old 60's throwback. We don't know what they plan to wear but it's lame. It's what the Falcons do mainly with their alternate that resembles the old red falcons jersey. Alternates like Philly, NE, Cinn, etc are different. Those jerseys don't resemble anything from the past. Just a plain alternate. Updated throwback alternates are lame. It's all about the money. As it throwbacks weren't enough...
I like the 1979-83 ones the most. In those days, the Chargers rarely, if ever, wore blue jerseys at home.
