Resign Ammendola as a Punter/Kicker and get rid of Mann, who has not looked good the last few games after returning. Then you can take your time and be more selective on your FG kicker search and not have to settle for any hack that comes along. Regardless, season is lost and a few key missed FGs should only help the draft position. Player personnel decisions by Jets Front Office have been weak, to say the least.
Stop trying to kick field goals or extra points. Punter can do kickoff . Not going anywhere this year. Add another rb to the game roster when you drop the kicker
Mann has only been good at pinning inside the 20. Either he’s still hurt or he’s not good. Might as well bring back Moorestead. And Ammendolla at least can boom it. This kid that played today barely made it to the endzone for touchbacks, and his accuracy isn’t what it was made out to be as he pulled both his kicks
Mann looks like he has no strength in his plant leg after that knee injury. Of course Douglas has no clue about special teams.

Well I’m guessing a new kicker for next week….this Kessman looked awful and his facial expressions on the sideline told me he had no confidence …. He couldn’t even reach the EZ on kickoffs.
He was 69-96 kicking FGs in college. Shouldn't have even gotten a look with those numbers. But, this is the Jets. So, while Ammendola was certainly deserving of being cut, making a move just for the sake of making a move wasn't the play either.
I was thinking the same exact thing ….. if they’re gonna make a move make sure it’s an improvement, don’t take a chance with a practice squad reject from another team.
